The Ninth Annual Family Arts Festival at Price Tower Arts Center is just around the corner. This year’s free festival will be held on October 8th on the grounds of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed skyscraper at 510 Dewey Avenue in downtown Bartlesville.
The event will feature dozens of games and crafts, live entertainment, magic shows, a car show and other demonstrations at no cost for kids and families. There will also be artists from the area showing and selling their works of art. As with previous Family Arts Festivals, there will also be an area for organizations to share information with the public.
“The Family Arts Festival is such a great event. It provides a wonderful opportunity for organizations and artists to share what they do with the community,” said Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center.
There will also be a number of food vendors at this year’s festival. The Knights of Columbus will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs. Casa Hispana will offer tamales and salsa, the Blue Star Mothers will be selling popcorn and sno cones.
“We are so pleased that these local groups were willing to be a part of our Family Arts Festival,” said Debra Woodall, director of marketing for Price Tower Arts Center.
Entertainment for the day will include The Amazing Christopher, who will offer magic shows at two different times. And, Spotlight Bartlesville returns featuring local talent from Mid America Karate, Art of Motion Dance, Everett Studio, BiteSize Broadway and ConocoPhillips Gymnastics. All the performances are free and on the grounds of Price Tower Arts Center.
